Mrs Rachel Akhuetie

Rachel is a multi-skilled professional with over 19 years extensive experience covering broad range from Accounting & Finance, Oil & Gas Commercial, Human Resource Management and Administration. She has had her working career with UBA Capital & Trust; an Asset management Company, Century Media Ltd and GoodWorks Intl LLC before joining SunTrust Oil Company Nigeria Ltd where she currently work as the General Manager Finance & Commercial.

She has worked in the Oil & Gas industry for over 16 years, working in various capacities from an Accounts Associate, Finance Manager, Head of Finance & Service, through several positions to a General Manager. In addition to her financial & risk management role, she plays a major role in the organizational management and working with the CEO to providing strategic direction to SunTrust Oil Company over the years.

Rachel is a graduate of Accounting with an MBA in International Business Management and an Associate member (ACA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). Rachel is an Alumnus of Stanford Graduate School of Business, California USA, where she obtained a certificate on Executive Program for Growing Companies. She is a Certified international Financial Reporting Standards Specialist (CIFRSS) and also Certified Risk & Compliance Management Professional (CRCMP) obtained from IARCP, USA. She is also an Alumnus of the International Human Resources Development Corporation (IHRDC), Boston, USA where she obtained a certificate in Financial Modeling and PetroleumProject Economics.
